Roceebo turns your bank and card transactions into transaction-backed expense records. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Data we collect
Account data. When you sign up, we collect your email address to create and secure your account. Authentication and data storage are provided by Supabase.
Financial data. If you connect a bank account or card, our provider Plaid retrieves the transaction and account information you authorize, such as account names, balances, and transaction history. We use this data only to display your transactions and generate your expense records.
Expense records you create. Business purpose notes, categories, and other details you add to your transactions are stored as part of your records.
Payment data. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number.
Technical data. Our hosting provider Vercel automatically logs basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and reliability.
How we use your data
We use your data to operate your account, import and organize your transactions, generate expense records and reports, process subscriptions, provide support, and keep the service secure. We do not sell your personal data, and we show no advertising.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Roceebo: Supabase (authentication and database), Plaid (bank connections), Stripe (payments), and Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only on our instructions. We may disclose data if required by law.
Security and retention
We use industry standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information. We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request, subject to legal retention obligations.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email below. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion.
Children
Roceebo is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version at this page and revise the effective date.
